Helen McDonnell is a principal environmental scientist for ESG’s Infrastructure Services division. Helen has been a key member of the ESG team for over twenty years, having started at the company in 1994. Before joining ESG, Helen held roles as a hydrogeologist for Norfolk County Council and assistant hydrogeologist for Wessex Water. Helen graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Bristol University and also holds a Master’s degree in Water Resources, Technology and Management from Birmingham University.
As the global population increases, so too does the level of waste material being produced. The World Bank estimates that within the next 85 years, humans will generate three times as much waste as we do today.
